Animal motifs and natural textures for New Delhi playroom
New Delhi-based Thinkcutieful has designed the Jungle-themed Playroom, which features colours, animal motifs and natural textures. With a focus on functionality, child safety and holistic growth, the firm maximised the two-year-old twins’ love for animals when visualising the 450 sq. ft. space.
Grey on the walls and floor are accentuated with olive green and leaf-green, along with sunshine yellow to bring in the cheer. Customised wallpaper resembles the Savannah landscape, with a jungle gym, a small ladder and a multifunctional play table allowing the children to play. The seating, book carousel and tables are made from oak wood and oak wood veneer.
A customised storage unit with plastic bin organisers, eco-friendly wall paint, scribble panels with dust-free chalk and soft materials are easy to clean. Green guard-certified wallpaper is used with the brand’s self-invented reusable adhesive, which is a toxin and phthalate-free biodegradable product made from a non-PVC fabric base.
