Bright colours for Gurugram home
New Delhi-based Nivasa has designed the Camellias, which is an apartment project in Gurugram. The client wanted a young and fun home that reflected their love for travel, and the firm used bright colours, fun details and a modern aesthetic. They created a warm and welcoming living space within the open-plan and multifunctional layout and the Art Deco colour palette.
One enters the spacious living and dining area set with curated furniture and décor pieces within the light-filled space. Colourful (pink, orange and green) sofas, a bar and a swing add playfulness to the vibrant colour palette. Panelling can be twisted to find shelving and bottles behind the bar and doubles up as an exquisite wall structure. The spacious balcony is visible from the living room and has a casual wicker dining table in the outdoor seating area.
The dining room has an eight-person customised dining table with onyx detailing, a modern chandelier and geometric wallpaper. The master bedroom has an organic design and colour palette, which silver sofas, accent chairs and an interesting-looking headboard along with a vibrant study area.
