Color minimalism for Gandhinagar sample apartment

Ahmedabad-based Imbue Designs has designed the Radhe Infinity in Gandhinagar, which is a sample house project spanning 2500 sq. ft. Deemed to be one of the largest projects in the city in terms of built-up area and prominent location, the project is designed for young working people. Considering the age group, the design theme is modern, and contemporary and focuses on openness. The client wanted a space that reflects a sense of order, calm, and restraint while enhancing their functionality.

Pastel colors comprise the project with red and yellow pops for vibrant, soothing, and easy on the eye. Yellow automatically uplifts people’s spirits by making the space bright and sunny, and red is used in the hallways to add excitement to the corridor. Large flooring tiles were chosen that resemble Italian marble, along with a wooden finish on the balcony flooring, ceiling, and washbasins.

The Corian stone used in the washrooms adds a premium feel, and the floor tiles used in the living and dining room complement the color theme. Artificial lighting, fixtures, and layout are important, which should be a combination of ambient lighting and task lighting. Glass walls in the balcony increase the amount of sunlight and create oneness, and the furniture is designed to enhance the layout.
