Ahmedabad-based Darshan Group has designed the Uma Acres, a residential project spread over 3,650 sq. ft. A combination of stone, wood, tiles and Italian marble was used for the flooring, complementing the contemporary furniture pieces.

One enters through the veneer main door, which has a wooden patti design. A double-height living space is enlivened by a colorful geometric painting, partnered by beige-colored sofas and a feature wall. A wooden frame at the other end holds the TV unit, and spaces to display knick-knacks. The veneer center table and chair with an agate marble top add durability and refinement to the ensemble. Exquisite paintings adorn the walls, which are illuminated by pendant lamps.

The first floor is a brightly-lit space with natural light, which leads to the master and son’s bedroom. One of the bedrooms has a lavender color palette with a sofa against a curtained wall and set off by circular decorated plates. The second bedroom has a blue theme with a glass-paneled bathroom and toilet. Thirdly, the son’s bedroom has a cartoon-themed wallpaper with bright-colored bedding and flooring. On the second floor, a gymnasium and a terrace adjoins the elevated party lawn.
