Dual design for twin bedrooms
New Delhi and Jammu-based Shriya Magotra Architects has designed the Twin Bedrooms, a set of bedrooms for siblings. They follow the same warm neutral colour palette, with wooden flooring adding major character to the space.
White high-gloss wardrobes with wide sliding panels blend with the light-coloured walls, while the wooden open shelf, a take on the traditional hotel tea drawer, adds textural contrast. The TV console and dressing table match the wardrobes, which highlights the bed that has been built on-site. One bedroom features a vibrant teal bed with an informal lounge, while the other is a sophisticated version with a wooden-framed old rose bed and a two-seater sofa. Large picture windows invite in the greenery, replacing the tiny openable ones. By removing the horizontal and vertical mullions, it becomes a perfect corner to relax.
