Five kitchen trends with LUXXU’s designs

One spends a lot of time in the kitchen, where they cook, chat and have a meal. Due to the increasing amount of remote work, kitchens must now be brighter, more comfortable and more functional. The secret to an outstanding kitchen remains the materials, colours, textures and design pieces.

  • Gold accents

Gold finishes are extremely popular in kitchen trends for 2022, which is accentuated using black furniture. One uses the golden LUXXU Pharo pendant lamps and LUXXU Nura bar chair structure, which are made of gold-plated brass as well.

  • Linear lighting

A linear lighting lamp provides consistent lighting over a long kitchen island, which is an idea conceived by Ar. Rachael Grochowski, Founder and Principal Architect, RHG A+, New Jersey. LUXXU’s Pharo snooker suspension has an impactful and functional presence in the kitchen.

  • Bold lighting

Due to the prevalence of remote working, kitchens must be transformed into an all-day purpose space. Bianca Betancourt, Design Team Lead, FORM Kitchens, San Francisco, says that integrated lighting is a priority for both function and aesthetics. The LUXXU Explosion suspension lamp visually enhances the space.

  • Wooden finishes

Wood kitchens have a warm comeback in country environments, which can be mixed and matched with marble, velvet and golden tones. Two LUXXU Charla bar chairs fit in the room, which are illuminated by a gold-plated lamp.

  • Eclectic materials

Product designers now use marble, velvet and leather among other fine materials. For example, a marble kitchen blended with gold-plated brass can be accentuated by a Shard suspension lamp, customised Galea bar chairs and blue velvet.
