Sustainable focus for Pune office
Mumbai-based Worksphere Architects has designed the Zensar Technologies in Pune, which was to define a workspace of 75,000 sq. ft. for a global digital solutions and technology services company.
Origami art is used to represent Zensar’s expertise in shaping smart-tech solutions and possibilities. Graffiti, frost film branding, and brightly-colored signage are further used to identify spaces and maintain a cheerful environment. Collaborative spaces with standing desks, projector screens, and easily movable furniture aid interaction between employees.
Energy-efficiency and sustainability have been emphasized in the project making use of the striking 360-degree peripheral natural light. Perimeter lighting, controlled with daylight sensors, and specialized lights that can be controlled by motion sensors are used in the cabins, conference, and meeting rooms. VRF heat ventilation and air-conditioning encourage productivity and efficiency. With a focus to sustainability, the materials used are certified with Green Pro, Green Guard, and BIFMA which ensure recyclable content. A management plan ensures reuse of at least 80 per cent of onsite waste, while low-VOC paintwork aids a healthier indoor atmosphere.
