Art Deco design for Gurugram office

New Delhi-based Envisage Design Projects designed Office 819 in Gurugram, an office project that breaks the standards of a workplace. A collaborative workspace was built for convenience and comfort, tied to the organization’s working style and preferences. The client was a cement production company with a large office complex and wanted a minimalistic and clean design to encourage the team’s physical and emotional well-being. The firm had the challenge to create a meeting space for the team and clients, as most of the office’s operations are conducted overseas.
A contemporary reception area with Art Deco elements welcomes visitors with a balanced material palette of fabric, wood, metal and marble. Pendant lights with metal embellishments bring in warmth, while the metallic backdrop and marble flooring add a luxurious aesthetic. Despite the compact space, the minimalistic layout maintains spaciousness. Two cabins are at the back of the reception lobby with a master cabin and workstations on the right.
Executive cabins were designed with simplicity, with a table, file storage and minimal ornamentation. A glass partition provides privacy, while keeping the space open; the large casement window invites natural light. The master cabin is an expansive space with recessed shelves, discussion tables and a sofa. It acts as a conference room to conduct business with a neutral color palette for elegance. Limited workstations are augmented within the space with integrated storage units and an attached pantry to optimize space as far as possible.
