Minimalistic luxury for Gurugram home
Gurugram-based Essentia Environments has designed the Four-floor Bungalow, a 5BHK residence of four spread across 12,000 sq. ft. Planned around open-to-sky gardens, landscaped courtyards and ingresses green bodies, the residence offers complete privacy from the otherwise busy neighborhood. The design includes family lounges and guest lounges on all the floors, with an atrium and a broad stairwell connecting all the floors.
The living areas are furnished with sofas, lounges and armchairs set against elaborate wall paneling. A neutral color palette with decorative textures and geometric forms, it symbolizes a functional and minimalistic home. Luxurious carpets, velvet and suede furnishings, sculptural lights, custom-made artwork add character to the vertical spaces of the atrium and stairwell. The dining room has stone inlay flooring with a glass table and sculptured chairs with rivets adds exclusivity, while the adjacent bar room is executed in white stone with gold-finished metal inlay. The kitchen is an expansive space with counterspace, storage and pantry.
Padded beds and headboards with minimally-designed walk-in closets comprise the bedroom, leading to the expansive bathroom with freestanding bathtubs, mirrors and island washbasin counters set against stone walls and floors. The landscaped terrace garden offers serenity with potted plants and a Buddha sculpture, doubling up as a spot for quiet evenings and entertaining alike. Vertical gardens add freshness while acting as a natural screen to maintain privacy.
