Modern, natural look for Ahmedabad bungalow
Ahmedabad-based Darshan Group has designed the Ahmedabad Bungalow, a residential project spread over 2600 sq. ft. The client’s brief was to incorporate a natural look throughout the house, which has been achieved with veneer.
A white background lends a soothing calmness to the house and brightens up the space. Italian marble is used for the flooring, while vitrified tiles are used to give a different look to the master bedroom. A POP and veneer border runs on the ceiling border, which is extended to the rest of the house except for the master bedroom. Textured paint and a polished wood installation is the major highlight of the living room, with a sofa and a wooden center table with an Italian marble top.
A sleek monochromatic color scheme is chosen for the open kitchen, with a combination of black and white glass shutters. Connected to the living and dining room, it makes the space look spacious. A dining table made of Italian marble and black upholstered chairs add elegance to the dining space.
A projector and a low-height seating area are designed for an unused corner of the master bedroom, along with veneer and vitrified tiles binding the room together. The bathroom has been made to look more spacious, along with large mirrors, a dressing area and wardrobes with a loft.
