Monochrome color palette for Delhi home

New Delhi-based Future Concepts has designed the DLF Caitriona, a residential project that was to be luxurious yet aesthetically pleasing in the congested monotony of the city. The apartment faced the Golf Course, and the client wanted a brand-new lifestyle for themselves. Light colors were used for the walls, with suede fabric for the furniture to bring warmth to the house. Monochrome colors add modernity and beauty, which is further highlighted by its tints and shades.
A dark beige sofa provides seating space, along with sheer beige curtains, tiger-striped chairs, framed artwork and a center table. Yellow lights, consisting of two chandeliers and a backlit piece, blend in with the natural colors and add warmth. The space opens out the balcony, which has a seating area, a center table and artifacts displayed on the wall.
The first bedroom follows the same neutral color palette and has a floral-patterned wallpaper, dark wooden bed, two chairs and a window that looks over the golf course. A powder-blue color scheme was chosen for the second bedroom, with star-shaped golden butterflies spanning across the bed wall. A padded bed back, a patterned wardrobe and a stuffed leather chair form the other elements of the room. The third bedroom has a baby-pink color scheme, with golden-patterned wallpaper, a padded bed back and a seating area.
Metal and brass artifacts were arranged on the walls in an irregular shape, to echo the shape of the golf course, which can be seen from all angles of the apartment. Natural stone was used for the center table, dining table and bar console. Most of the furniture was designed in straight lines, while some have irregular shapes to break the monotony.
