Refurbished design for Mumbai restaurant
Mumbai-based Blank Page Interiors has designed the Veg-o-holic, a multicuisine restaurant that was to highlight its belonging to a chef. The firm was thus to refurbish an old restaurant into a youthful space with neutral colors, cheerful décor accents, and customized lighting for enhanced user experience.
Black-painted kitchen utensils and equipment welcome the visitor at the main entrance, paired with complementing furniture. A handpainted floral-printed wall complements the beige furniture with multiple seating configurations. There are four-seater sofa and table combinations for families, while a two-chair and table setup is perfect for friends or couples. The grey flooring ends at the wooden staircase, which leads to the mezzanine floor.
As requested by the client, quotes by the chef are displayed on the brick walls. Pendant lighting suspended with rattan illuminate the wooden elements, adding a much-needed warmth. Faux windows with wooden shutters reveal black railings with a customized shelf beneath to display small decorative items. The feature wall is an arrangement of assorted shapes, including green patches that add freshness to the project.
