Industrial theme for Noida corporate office
Bengaluru-based Rapid Corp India has designed the GE Power India Ltd. in Noida, which was to develop a vibrant workspace that radiates growth and innovation.
Spread over 184,000 sq. ft., this leading energy technology company required its use of cutting-edge tech to be reflected in its office space. A service core and production areas have been demarcated at the beginning of the construction, efficiently utilizing two natural light sources. The urbanscape is captured in a dynamic design language that also complements the complexity of a social work environment.
Using an industrial theme, soaked cladding is used on the walls to impart the look and texture of brick, concrete and rusted copper. Slated cork panels on boardroom walls imbue warmth and elegance to the space. Preserved moss at the entrance recalls nature and imparts a biophilic appeal to this otherwise tech-intensive space. A customized wooden and mesh baffle ceiling with light fixtures integrates the corridors and meeting rooms. Two-toned GFX flooring and customized terrazzo tiles are used for the cafeteria and pantry.
