Vadodara-based Matai Associates has designed the POCA, a restaurant project that was to reflect openness, light and a clutter-free environment. The restaurant and a private dining area are integrated to accommodate more guests on the weekend, and the latter becomes part of the restaurant. The ceiling has an intricate design of lampshades, air-conditioning and acoustical treatments, and the motifs and furniture designs maintain the same philosophy.

The white, blue and brown colour palette maintains a Mediterranean openness and wide openings, which look over the outside space with outdoor furniture. A raised platform on the rear side connects the restaurant with the outside.
