Mr. L. A. Khan appointed Secretary General of IAFP
Mr. Liyakat Ali Khan, Founder & Managing Director, Universal Media Group, Pvt. Ltd., Mumbai, has been elected Secretary General of the IAFP (International Alliance of Furnishing Publications). Mr. Khan represents IFJ Magazine from India, which was named one of the leading design publications of the world at Milan, in 2021.
The IAFP has elected a new board and set its goals for the future at its Annual General Meeting (AGM) during Malaysian International Furniture Fair (MIFF). The association comprises seventeen leading furnishing publications from around the world, which co-operate in their respective territories in foreign markets.
At the AGM, the outgoing Chairman Casey Loo (Furniture & Furnishing Export International, Singapore) thanked his fellow board members and then advised the management of the alliance of the new board. The IAFP thanks Informa Markets, Malaysia (organisers of MIFF) for hosting its 2023 AGM, which took place on 3rd March in Kuala Lumpur.
