Neutral colours for Gurugram apartment
Gurugram-based Homework by Shagun Singh has designed the Palam Vihar Apartment, which is a residential space spread over 2500 sq. ft. designed for a young couple. A large terrace is the highlight of the house with an adjoining tree lending shade and beauty to the home, and the space was designed to keep its aesthetics and accessibility. Neutral colours are used for the walls, ceilings and fabrics. The brick-finished wall with a wall panelling lends a modern rustic ambience.
The master bedroom is converted into a main living quarter, and the second bedroom becomes a family room. A teak French door is added to the space with glass panels becoming an extension of the living room, enhancing the room. Earthy mosaic tiles are added to the terrace’s wall and ceiling and making a new bar with customised planters.
