Pantone color 2019 shades for Noida apartment

Photography: Visuary

Noida-based Studio Meraki has designed the Prateek Edifice, a 4BHK apartment with a simple brief. The client wanted an honest, comforting and decluttered home within their restricted budget. The home enjoyed abundant daylight and ventilation through the huge fenestrations, and enabled majestic skyline views due to its location on the seventeenth floor.

The firm used coral, which was the Pantone Color of the Year in 2019, which is defined as a vibrant shade of golden-orange. Blue and coral reflect the underwater life, which was taken as the inspiration for the minimalistic home. The foyer is done in coral shades, while beige and red are chosen for the lounge and dining area. Artwork and planters used as screens calm the mind, along with the pastel blue undertones in watercolor strokes depict the water and sky on the adjacent wall.

The living room features yellow walls, orange pendant lights and blue furniture to enhance the vibrant and warm space. An elegant wooden leaf-shaped artwork with a lotus-shaped floor lamp brings in adaptations of natural forms for a positive psychological impact on human mind. Bedrooms feature gold, blue, beige and white along with wooden flooring.
