Pastel shades for Gurugram apartment

Photographer: Vaibhav Bhatia

Gurugram-based Envisage has designed the Ukiyo, which is a 3BHK apartment spread over 1500 sq. ft. With a northeast orientation, the house invites in ample natural light due to its UPVC openings and a balcony in each room. Keeping in mind the post-pandemic demands, the servant room at the entrance is converted into a sanitization room.

The living room directly opens out into the terrace, which brings in the natural greenery as well. The coral couch brightly contrasts with the beige and pastel blue walls, along with prelaminated and Italian marble flooring. Accent and ambient lighting illuminate the space, along with impacting the residents’ minds.

As the clients are working professionals, the study room alongside the puja room is the focal point. The multipurpose and dining area blend the public and private zones, with a sofa on one side of the table to save space. Bright colors and curated lighting maintain an earthy décor, also resembling a temporary detachment. Moving to the master bedroom, it is a blend of mauve and beige wall finish and blue chairs. A sunflower-themed children’s bedroom features bright yellow and beige upholstery, décor and furniture.
