Seamless design for New Delhi office
New Delhi-based Studio Lucid has designed the Bholara, a corporate office that wanted an industrial look for the space. The project begins within a small reception and waiting area, which is in the center of the space yet doesn’t hamper work confidentiality. The director’s cabin is at one end of the large workstation, with an interconnected conference room that opens up to the outdoor views. The aisle is left unobstructed to maintain a clear space quality and boost productivity in the interiors.
In the reception area, mild steel metalwork forms the visual core identity while the fluted glass partition segregates the space. Moving onto the workstations, laminated storage spaces store belongings and a small floating pinboard partition maintains work privacy. Cool grey painted walls illuminated by ambient lighting adds a seamless calming work energy, which was important for employee well-being and productivity.
The director’s cabin features bold elegance and stability with a black marquina marble table a Corian tabletop, wall shelving and niches. Grooved handles, profile lighting, sliding folding door and fluted glass wall finishes with black metal framing are space-saving elements. Large windows bring in the green nature, while maintaining an impactful working atmosphere in the cabin.
