Style your spaces with furniture

Text: Mr Piyush Soni, Director, Furniture Tech, New Delhi

Creating a new space for oneself signifies a new beginning for homeowners, and is an excellent opportunity to renovate your interiors. Similarly, an old house can be revamped by rearranging the furniture in different rooms while maintaining a relaxing aesthetic. We work with five-star hotels, multinational organisations, financial institutions and high-end residences for our furniture pieces.

Coming to the living room, the furniture must be arranged to facilitate conversations yet maintain comfort and cosiness. Though a simple sofa might have sufficed a decade ago, firms say that the demand for plush furniture pieces has increased over the years. Apart from our statement pieces, we manufacture customised pieces for customers. Apart from neutral colours such as terracotta, black and white, one can use a maximalist palette as well. Examples include solid colours such as teal or fuchsia for their furniture. Experiment with fabrics such as satin and velvet to add a dimension to the space. For a simpler and minimalistic ambience, choose brass hardware with caramel shades for a bright look.

The master bedroom allows people to relax after a long and hard day at work, which resembles an intimate haven of sorts. The bed frame must preferably be placed in the centre for easy accessibility, while bedside tables and ottomans provide a sense of comfort in the room. Wood adds warmth and textural depth to the spaces, such as when used for side panelling and wooden side tables.
