Traditional contemporary design for New Delhi home
Gurugram-based Homework Interior Studio has designed the Experion Windchants in New Delhi NCR, an apartment spread across 1500 sq. ft. The client wanted a modern design that complements her furniture and art collection. Following an open-plan design, the project includes a formal living space, dining area and a study room.
The formal living room complements large existing sofas with the rocking chair and two new chairs, and Spanish brick-finished tiles add a rustic touch. Indian-print fabric and cushions add colour to the space, and the artwork includes a blend of art photography and Pichhwai art.
Bedrooms are designed in a contemporary manner, yet remain functional and spacious. The master bedroom has an earthy pastel colour palette to keep it open, airy and comfortable. A high table with plants retains the greenery needed on the balcony, yet maintained privacy.
