The stone industry has expanded its vision to innovation and technology, and marble remains an ever-evolving material in the design and décor context. Marble delivers several possibilities with context to composition, appearance, textures, colours and more.

Due to its polished elegance, marble is widely executed across all typologies such as residences, hospitality, retail, commercial and urban landscaping. It is commonly used with wood, metal, ceramic, glass and upholstery for architecture and interior design. Marble is reputed for its flooring design solutions in different patterns and geometries, flooring inlay and kitchen countertops. Apart from such conventional uses, it is used for accent walls and backsplashes for residential and recreational spaces such as lobbies, ledges and foyers. Light-reflecting marble is used to create bar stands, consoles, loungers and tabletops among other furniture pieces.

For minimalistic interiors, marble in different colours and striations are used for sculpting décor pieces such as kitchenware, planter pots and trays. They are used for jaali screens for facades and marble balustrades for stairways, terraces and balconies in the hospitality sectors. For example, a marble curtain with a backlit feature or a swing is a visually appealing outdoor piece. Marble is extremely sustainable and durable for fountains, plunge pools, seating benches and decorative columns. It is now used in cutlery and stationery as well, such as in furniture handles, hardware and accessories. Due to its adaptability marble provides several opportunities for spatial characters in design.
