Gurugram-based Chalk Studio has designed the Soiree Home, which is a 3BHK apartment project with bold colours and accent features. The client wanted a minimal and functional home spanning 1800 sq. ft. with space-saving storage solutions, a mixed colour palette and statement pieces. The home follows a clean colour palette of olive green, beige and pink.

The living room is symmetrical, and monochromatic and seamlessly flows into the dining area. Neutral colours on the walls bring in tranquillity, accentuated with green curved sofas, an asymmetric console and bespoke mouldings. The dining room has shades of beige and grey, along with an oval dining table and four chairs. A customized planter is the signature element that brings in the outdoors to create a balance of nature and urban living.

Bedrooms are designed in a contemporary manner with wood-panelled behind the beds, contrasting with the clean white walls. Soft furnishings are chosen in shades of beige, cream and patterns, such as a dark blue chair enjoying the sunlight flowing in through the balcony. Monochromatic wall artwork creates a safe charming haven and defines the space. Décor pieces such as a blue vase, printing blocks, coffee table books and wooden pieces bring out the eclectic element.

Functionality is prioritized to create a unified and uncluttered ambience. The child’s bedroom has two beds and a study table in one corner, with ample sunshine pouring in from the bay windows to create an illusion of space. An intimate corner is transformed into a lounge area with windows offering stunning cityscape views, along with a large grey sofa and stack shelves for work-from-home sessions or reading marathons.
