There are innumerable examples of women rising, female entrepreneurs, across the world, who mold their destiny while inspiring one and all. Achieving the right balance of functionality, aesthetics and client satisfaction is always the designer’s driving factor. Responding to clients’ expectations, which has led to found the Rajkot-based Auura Interior Design Studio. The team is committed to serving its clients with reliability and professionalism, and I have gained support from my family and husband, Mr. Kalpesh Ganatra, who handles the technical aspect while I manage the creative side, to overcome challenges over the years.

Today, women constitute half of the architecture and interior design community. Innumerable women-lead architecture and interior design firms reach new heights with the right kind of vision and leadership, with their qualification and competence. Talent and virtues are now recognized by promoting gender equality in the workplace, such as the #ChooseToChallenge on this Women’s Day prioritizes inner creativity over focusing on minor obstacles.

An advice to aspiring designers: with the growing urbanization, ensure efficient spacing and functional planning. Mold young minds to appreciate space design, working drawing and material knowledge. They must be open to learning throughout their career as education sets the difference from a decorator and a designer.
