Ambient lighting in New Delhi boutique
New Delhi-based eSpaces Architects has designed the Home Automation Centre, which was to accomplish an apartment boutique to display a live demonstration of the home automation system.
The boutique resembles a house at the small entrance vestibule with its chairs and colored upholstery. Ambient lighting and a pendant lighting fixture are important elements of the center. The ceiling has a high-gloss coffee-colored ceiling, with a discussion chamber behind the entrance. Light colors enhance the space of the rooms. The family lounge has flooring and light complementing the ceiling, with a small lounge with a TV and projector to view the products. Home automation being an important element, the smart switches are almost invisible. There are two auditoriums which function as small home-theatre experience centers, one with a refreshment zone and a linear plan with organic planning. The spaces resemble a home with the added advantage of a home automation system.
