As people re-prioritize their investment strategies towards more robust assets in the equities market, we expect an uptake in transactions on the demand side. Though it does not necessarily mean a rise in prices, a pessimistic sentiment will remain as the pace of completed projects slows down further. The COVID-19 is expected to leave a negative aftertaste for the next two quarters on the architecture, design and real estate industries alike unless the government takes immediate measures.
