Featherlite launches new designs for Hyderabad IT office
Featherlite has launched new designs in collaboration with Tablespace Technologies, for the Salesforce office in Hyderabad. The client brief was to design an office that reflected the values of the IT software company and ensured a positive working environment for higher employee engagement.
A honeycomb roof element is suspended from the bare ceiling with visible vents, adding to the raw look. Open spaces replace opaque cubicles, and the Featherlite Genesis POD and Genesis Booth have been integrated into the design with wooden louvered partitions. On one hand, the POD features three-seater sofas sit on either side of a center table with sound-absorbing acoustic walls. Likewise, the Booth is built-in with plugs and play electrical connections allowing employees to attend phone calls in privacy. It has an extended tabletop, in-built plus, play features and a backrest, which makes it perfect to provide private zones in an open-air office. They use the light and ventilation of the surrounding environment, thus saving on real estate costs. With an NRC rating of 0.8, the products shelter employees from noise distractions.
Conference tables, chairs, sofas and storage spaces have been arranged in an open-floor plan format as it boosts interaction among employees. Brightly-colored furniture complements the mild yellow-and-white color palette and breaks the stereotypes associated with conventional IT offices. Carefully-placed succulents and planted pots add freshness to the space.
