Designer hexagonal tables for Bilaspur villa

Photographer: Mr. Prashant Bhat

Bilaspur-based architecture and design firm Inspire Design and Associates has designed the Umang Villa, which is a 7900 sq. ft. structure. Following a blend of antique and modern designs, the client wanted a luxurious design with no compromise on the budget.

The prayer room on the ground floor reflects the traditional aspect of the design, while the recreational and private areas are located on the first floor. The two-storeyed villa comprises three major spaces – an entrance followed by a lobby, a recreational space, and the bedrooms.  The raised living room is a large double-height area, which has been accentuated by a contemporary chandelier. A customized sofa with designer hexagonal tables and rugs has been set off by indirect light fittings. The dining room is done up in an antique style, with a rectangular table in onyx marble.

On the first floor, the master bedroom depicts privacy for the couple with a white-and-wood design combination. The checkered-patterned headboard offers a play of light and shadow, while the white theme reflects its peaceful qualities. Single-operated windows invite in the morning sunlight while reducing heat from the east-west side. It opens out to a spacious sit-out and shower room fitted with Italian marble flooring.
