As of now, the only things that have stopped at MPA are the projects on sites.
All our teams are functioning normally from home. We have made a disciplined format of morning and evening reports and targets where we distribute the activities within our team.
Our team leaders are monitoring the activities on a day to day basis and in weekly reviews.
Our marketing team has gone in to an overdrive as this is the best time to connect with the audience for their attention on social media.
Some team members have gone for a change of roles or profile because their responsibilities were not compatible for WHF formats.
And then we have discovered apps like Zoom and BlueJeans very recently where we have internal and external meeting and share screens for briefings.
Upskilling
This is the best time to upskill ourselves.
We are not only encouraging but asking our team to share what they have learned extra in the last week from Sunday to Sunday.
Learning new software, hobbies, personal fitness, change of skills are encouraged in this format. Even helping the community is encouraged.
We are discovering skills in our team which we never knew before and looking at each other with a renewed respect.
Learnings
Most importantly, we have discovered that working from home is not as impossible as we had previously thought. We have started exploring social media to gain immense knowledge lying there which is a potential we had not explored before.
We have discovered the potential of webinars where there are huge knowledge-sharing platforms and we had always shied away from this in normal times.
We propose to now use a certain time daily, in normal times also, to launch Zoom or BlueJeans for meeting with regular clients and vendors.
Also, we now know how to engage with our followers on social media by going live from time to time.
