ΒΕΤΑPLAN S.A. is an international consultancy in Architecture, Planning, Project Management and Construction Supervision. The firm was incorporated in 1987, as a continuation of the partnership formed in 1972 by its current principals, architects Ioannis Ventourakis and Panagiotis Tavaniotis.

BETAPLAN has undertaken the planning, design and construction supervision of a wide range of projects, both in Greece and overseas, for many different clients from both the public and private sectors. The company’s main areas of expertise include Transport, Healthcare, Education, Sports, Culture and Hospitality.
Current significant projects include the Architectural Finishes Design for the Elevated Stations of Economic Zone, Ras Bu Fontas and Al Wakra on the Doha Metro Phase 1 – Red Line South Elevated and At- Grade.

BETAPLAN collaborated successfully with distinguished international architects Renzo Piano Building Workshop for the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center in Athens and Santiago Calatrava for the Athens 2004 Olympic Stadium Complex.
The company comprises 30 architects and planners, as well as 19 administrative and technical support staff. At the core of the firm’s organization are the Design Teams, formed to deliver new projects and to ensure continuity of brief and design intentions.

Building Information Modeling (BIM) software is fully incorporated in the firm’s workflow, thus providing an advanced way of controlling the quality of the designed buildings throughout the design and construction processes.

BETAPLAN S.A. implements a Quality Management System in accordance with EN ISO 9001:2008 for Consulting Services in design, construction supervision and project management.

BETAPLAN is fully conversant with Green Building Certification Systems, such as LEED, QSAS and KENAK. The Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center, where BETAPLAN acted as Executive Architect & Architect of Records, is the first public project in Greece to obtain the Platinum LEED certification rating.
