Mumbai-based Hipcouch has designed the Ensotique Office, a startup dedicated to mentoring, guidance, and funds. The client brief was to design a space that had an industrial, vibrant, and fun theme and ambience. Functionally, they needed space for a finance department, a workstation that can double up as a mini-conference room and working zones. The firm worked to design a space that was aesthetically and functionally aligned with their requirements, where the client had allowed them to explore their creative vision.

The finance and conference rooms were designed to be collapsible so that they can be opened and closed as per need, to make for one seamless space. Casual seating and pantry made up the other areas, which were designed to be informal. Bright primary colors were used for color-coding the space, where each color denoted a particular zone. Walls, floors, and ceilings were themed accordingly. Lights were designed to match the color-coded pathways, which indirect lights that don’t hurt eyes yet provide effective task lighting. Furniture and booths were custom-made, with wooden chairs upholstered with the specific color theme. Neutral vinyl flooring allowed the colors to pop, while two washrooms were reconstructed as the firm believed that one would suffice.
