Designworx Asia hosts a webinar with Ar. Martha Thorne
Designworx Asia has run a campaign titled ‘Insta40’, an Instagram live series hosted by Ar. Himani Ahuja, Founder, One Digital, and Designworx Asia. The series features storytellers who have excelled in their respective fields, such as architecture and design. The session covered the design industry to motivate aspiring architects and designers with professionalism. One of the most insightful sessions was with Ar. Martha Thorne, Executive Director, The Pritzker Architecture, Dean, IE School of Architecture and Design.
In the session, Ar. Thorne discussed her thoughts on Architecture Competition and Awards in the Indian and global contexts. She emphasized the importance of architectural journalism and expressed pride that architects now win national accolades for their contribution to art and culture. Ar. Ahuja and Ar. Thorne agreed that journalists connect the architectural community with the world, especially during the pandemic with virtual interviews and exhibitions.
