New York effervescence for Bengaluru apartment
Bengaluru-based Signa Designs Realty has designed the Zenium, a 3BHK apartment with a single large open social space as its defining feature. Designed as a boutique studio with a New York energy, with floral wallpaper, pastel-coloured curtains and wooden elements.
An antique mirror sliding TV panel with a bar on one side welcome one to the living room, along with a veneer-backed sofa and storage compartment arms. An oversized wall art collection, a reading nook in tan leather and marble with a brass side table are set against the floral wallpaper. The open kitchen is flanked by a suspended steel shelving system and LED glass shelves, which create a partition and additional space. It features a black grooved facia with pastel elements, making it look modern and functional. The countertop doubles up as a side table unit to dining table, which has a marble top on metal framing bordered by tan leather chairs.
The master bedroom has a leather-finished wallpaper with brass inlay strips, following with floating wall-mounted side tables against a neutral background. The children’s bedroom features a bunkbed and wardrobe in weathered wood, with a side table resembling a Rubik’s cube against a postcard-printed wallpaper. The guest bedroom has a wall-mounted side table, a minimalistic TV console and a writing table that doubles up as a dresser.
