Resort ambience for Chandigarh vacation home

Chandigarh-based Aann Space has designed Aann Haus, which is designed as a sustainable vacation home. Spread over 604 sq. m., the urban property was conceived as a luxurious resort at home. Before entering the home, one finds the entrance through the greenery and a lily pond with lotus and water plants. The firm has recreated a stone sculpture reminding one of the Stone Age and lit it up with fairy lights. The ground floor of the 4BHK two-storeyed residence has private open spaces that connect residents with the sun and breeze outside. The east-facing front garden is located at the centre and brings in the interplay of light and shade.
As one ascends the prefabricated staircase, one finds a wooden entrance leading them to the prayer room. One finds natural light, sculptures, water bodies and greenery all around, which adds to the project’s ecological aspect. Technology blends with nature in the form of video-call intercoms, digital locks and centralised air-conditioning.
The multipurpose basement has pool tables, bars, gyms and cinemas. The ceiling has exposed concrete and raw wooden designs, while the walls have exposed brick designs for an industrial ambience complemented with signature furniture pieces.
