Restrained luxury for Delhi home

Neat, sophisticated and clutter-free – design firm AND Studio’s execution of this client brief resulted in a contemporary, versatile look for this DLF Capital Green Apartment. Suitable to the needs of the entire family, the design approach took into consideration individual needs (from kids to the elderly) and also of the family as a whole. Bright accents and a neutral backdrop create this cohesive, snug house.
On the first floor of a tower development, circulation and functionality became the key design principles towards structuring the layout of this 2000 sq ft home. The challenge was to meet all needs and yet present an uncluttered space. Pastel shades were used for the backdrop to enhance a sense of spaciousness. The color choice had the added benefit of making the furniture in royal blue pop.
The purity of the design can be easily seen through the symmetry of spaces. Sleek interiors have been installed to add to the grandeur of the place. Every element incorporated contributes to the look of a premium apartment.
These have a neutral palette, accented with geometric patterns and stately colors such as gold, blue and lead. Living and dining areas are divided by a distinctive, golden mesh partition. Designer bar stools, marble top dining table and lighting fixtures complete the style.
A soft and airy look has been created for the bedrooms with a neutral color palette. Mood lighting and marble tiling imbue a rich setting that is functional and easy to maintain. Deliberately not over-designed, this home seeks to be luxury in a relaxed, easy-going ambience.
