Royal look for Mumbai apartment

Photography: Prashant Bhat

Mumbai-based GA Design has designed the 52 Raheja, which is a 4BHK luxury residential project spanning 2205 sq. ft. It offers stunning views of the Mumbai skyline, including the Bandra-Worli Sea Link. The apartment is flooded with natural light through huge windows to ensure cross-ventilation, along with an ensuite room with an attached toilet for their domestic help. The clients are a well-traveled family of four, and they wanted a royal look for their home.

One enters through a lift lobby with white marble flooring with a black inlay pattern, and the combination of white, black, and grey forms a neutral base. A wall at one end of the lobby is paneled with alternating onyx and veneer panels, and a double entrance door in metallic PU and gold strips stands at the other end. The entire wall length is clad with metallic gold PU.

The living room has a matte gold television wall flanked with a backlit Patagonia marble, with bespoke furniture pieces such as the marble center table with matte metallic PU and coffee tables coated in resin art. The daughter’s bedroom has peach ombre tones, the son’s bedroom has black Marquina marble and the master bedroom has royal blue velvet fluted panels. Bathrooms are in different shades of colors and textures to suit the bedroom décor.
