Suspended globe lights for Delhi restaurant and bar
New Delhi-based architecture and design firm Chromed Design Studio has designed the We Bar, located near the Qutub luxury hotel. A fusion of a muted milieu and vibrant furnishings, the design palette was to design multiple bars retaining a premium Eden-like feeling.
Low-key lighting and music present a harmonious atmosphere, expressing comfort through accentuating the contours. The island bar is an eye-catching element with suspended globe lights, creating a cloud effect within the dull flooring and brightly-colored furniture. Glass interiors add a shimmering effect to the interiors while outdoor spaces feature a cobbled terrace and planters. Brass-colored outdoor furniture with lit tables performs a functional aspect.
Bold wine and gold form the sophisticated color palette of the project spanning over 6000 sq. ft., with accents of brass to complement the space. One would find an impactful contrast of grey terrazzo and wooden floor deck. A corrugated sheet around the boundary installed with lights adds an exclusive look to the place.
