Russia Commission: Zaha Hadid Architects, London In harmony with its natural topography, the residence is in sync with the client’s wish to be in close connection with nature. The structure is divided into two main areas: the first part merges with a sloping forested landscape and the other area is designed 22 sq m above ground so as to benefit from a spectacular view of the forest. These areas are connected by three concrete columns that establish a dialogue between the levels. and the vertical shafts required for circulation and services are also located between these columns.
The residence is organized vertically over four levels. The first floor has a main entrance with a double-height space, a library and children’s room. The lower level houses recreational facilities. The ground floor includes the primary living room, dining, kitchen, indoor swimming pool, and the master bedroom with exterior terraces occupying the upper level above the treetops.
