Gurugram-based Essentia Environments has designed the Golf Estate Home, a duplex apartment project spread across 7800 sq. ft. Designed for a family of four, this was the client’s second home and they didn’t have a brief in mind.

A study and play area are located on the left of the entrance foyer, and the double-height space on the left becomes the living area with a staircase on the right. The fireplace is designed opposite the living area and on the right of the passageway. One would find the kitchen on the right and the dining space and bar ahead of it, which is next to the living room. The upper level consists of three bedrooms with attached bathrooms and a family lounge. The family lounge is on the left side and the master bedroom ahead has a walk-in closet and bathroom.

The child’s bedroom is at the end of the passage with an attached bathroom, and the grandfather’s room is diagonally opposite the same. Located on the other side of the staircase, the bedroom has a walk-in closet and bathroom. There are balconies on both ends of the parents’ room. Marble countertops are preferred for a clean and sophisticated look in the kitchens and bathrooms. A neutral colour palette of grey and white is following, which has been brightened up with pops of colours. The material palette includes luxury marble, veneer, red oakwood, fabric, metal and glass.

Bathrooms are elaborate spacious layouts with artwork, sculptural mirrors, washbasins and bathtubs in blue onyx against a pristine white palette. Modern pendant lights and chandeliers add sophistication, along with large windows displaying the green exteriors.
