Gold trimmings for Delhi boutique

New Delhi-based team Woodcraft International has designed The Prachi Kapoor Design Studio, a fashion boutique whose interiors attract customers’ attention in its chic interiors.

Spread over 250 sq. ft., the project is inspired by gold, which symbolizes royalty when in used in fabric and jewellery. A glass and wooden screen inspired by European architecture are used for the façade.

Combining traditionalism and modernity, a self-finished golden wallpaper has a honey and amber-toned trim. A full-size mirror on one side of the wall creates the illusion of a larger space, the muted wall colors enhance the brightly-colored garments. Aluminum sections are finished in dull gold for the garment rack, along with a storage rack. Cream-toned wooden flooring amalgamates the monochromatic interiors, with spotlights added above the two garment racks and zigzagging linear lights on the ceiling and a trial room.
