A formal dining space with a contemporary sensibility and yet with an old world charm was the inspiration for the architect.

The designer used a lot of rich, luxurious materials: veneers, wood, stone and added some softness and colour with brightly printed fabrics and coloured velvets.

The layout of the space and lighting were key considerations while designing. The space has fantastic natural light. The use of architectural lighting in the space creates a soft glow.

A dramatic piece of lighting like the large Escher inspired chandelier adds an element of subtle luxury. The bar area adds a little contrast, bursting with warm tropical colours and prints.
