Mumbai-based Tailor Your Home has designed the 2BHK Adani Western Heights, a residential project spread over 1500 sq. ft. The client wanted clean lines, customised furniture and a high storage capacity. One enters through a warmly-lit open shelf in the centre to display storage shelves, which takes you to the living room. The living room contains a solid wooden sofa, a metal coffee table and a wooden television unit. Finished with marble, the unit contains open and closed units for storage space – complete with an attached mandir.

A six-seater dining set is placed in the dining area, and a mirror wall creates the illusion of space. A sofa on the other side saves space by creating storage while providing additional seating. The small and functional kitchen has a parallel layout for high storage capacity, white for the overhead cabinets, warm false ceiling lights and a dado-tiled backsplash visually expand the space.

The master bedroom follows a grey colour palette with blue accents for the headboard, along with wooden flooring, a customised hydraulic bed, a dresser and wardrobes. Out of the three wardrobes, two are modular and one is with glass shutters. The daughter’s bedroom uses her favourite colour, green, and Legos. It includes a trundle bed with storage, a wardrobe, a window seat and a study desk. Being a working couple, the client wanted a clean design for their home office that doubles up as a guest bedroom. Hence, a solid wooden sofa and bed and a large television unit are chosen.
