Mumbai-based Design Café Experience Centre has designed the Harsh Residence, a residential project with an abundance of natural light. A statue of Lord Buddha and the surrounding greenery brings in an earthy ambiance and cools down the temperature of the project. An area under the staircase accommodates a small sculpture and a storage unit for functionality and aesthetic appeal.

Upon entering the house, the living room features vibrant but comfortable seating, with minimal and functional furniture. A glass ceiling window brings in natural light that brings openness to the space. An uncluttered system with refrigerator, bins, and under-mount range hoods create a streamlined and uniform aesthetic in the open kitchen. Racks, trays, and organizers further maintain order in drawers and cupboards. Bold patterns on the wall maintain visual interest in the bedroom, while teals and whites hold energy yet maintain mental peace at the same time.
