Ahmedabad-based Darshan Group has designed the Uma Acres, which was to create a simple yet stylish 4BHK bungalow. A white, modern and minimalistic design maintained the client’s practical and uncluttered brief – along with the used of veneer and customised artwork. The project comprises the foyer, living room, dining area, kitchen, master bedroom, guest bedroom and son’s bedroom.

Lighter colours are used for the living room, which followed a material palette of Italian marble and veneer. The predominant use of grey and beige Italian marble flooring delivers elegance to the space, and renders an expansive and warm ambience. The kitchen is connected to the living and dining spaces, which is done up in a minimalistic manner.

Coming to the master bedroom, it features PU finish and cooler colours. The son’s bedroom has a feature wall depicting his interest in football, which adds drama to the same. Following the theme, the guest bedroom is designed to display elegance and luxury.
