An all-round experience for Mumbai residential complex

Mumbai-based architecture and design firm Seedle by DC Group designed the Rustomjee Urbania, a much-coveted residential complex in Thane. Spanning over 35,000 sq ft, the complex targets the middle-income population but ensures high-end common amenities for both adults and children on the premises. Contemporary facilities such as an in-house gymnasium, cafeteria, and party halls have built for the potential 1000-odd residents.

The firm has used in-house materials and has blurred the lines between indoor and outdoor aspects to create the illusion of a large and welcoming space. The cafeteria features a bright color palette with minimalistic furniture, colorful modern artwork, and pops of greenery. The rooms are given a cheerful touch with quirky sculptures that recreate human emotions that are connected to the purpose of the room. The recreation room is kept simple with a choice of indoor games against a cream-and-wood background. While the kids’ lobby and play area are dotted with color and toys, the party is aesthetically done up in a beige color palette. Natural light and ventilation have been emphasized upon that enables a simple yet relaxed environment for residents to rejuvenate from within.
