Minimalistic palette for Gurugram home

Gurugram-based Chalk Studio has designed the Soiree Home, which is a 3BHK apartment project requiring bold colours and accent features within the minimalistic space. A clean colour palette of beige, pink and olive green is chosen for the project spread over 1800 sq. ft. The living room follows a monochromatic design, which includes neutral walls for tranquillity accentuated with curved green seating. An asymmetrical console and bespoke moulding seamlessly flow into the adjacent dining room.

Beige and grey are used for the dining area, which has an oval table and four chairs. A customised planter brings in the indoors, creating a balance between nature and urban living. Wooden panelling set against the white walls is used for the bedrooms, along with beige and cream. Dark furniture, monochromatic artwork, ceramic and wooden décor pieces further bring out the eclectic functionality.

Coming to the children’s room, features two beds, a study table and ample sunshine from the bay window – this creates an illusion of space in the room. For the lounge, a large sofa and stack shelving make for work-from-home sessions or reading sessions against the cityscape views.
