Modern vibe for Pune apartment

Photography: Studio Colourblind

Pune-based Kefi Design Studio has designed Apartment 203, a 3BHK residential project spanning 2500 sq. ft. The client enjoys travelling with their two sons and wanted a home that reflected a modern Indian family lifestyle. With no civil changes required, the interiors were to maintain their spaciousness and fluidity.

One is welcomed by a huge circular mirror finished in gold leafing, and the modular console table is designed to hide away the utility storage space. Tropical wallpaper further accentuates the home’s design statement. The living and dining space is a spacious and light-filled space with minimal furniture and has a soft grey, blue, beige and brown colour palette. A nude suede sofa and an ivory-white marble table are counteracted by deep green colour pops.

On the other hand, a white grooved dining wall in Plaster of Paris. This is highlighted by metal art in the centre juxtaposed with a minimal golden lighting fixture to bring in class and luxury. The balcony facing the cityscape features outdoor seating against neutral suede curtains, adding a touch of opulence.

The master bedroom has neutral colours and wooden shades for a mature-like ambience, complete with a bespoke wooden large wardrobe with round golden handles. A large soft headboard, green golden and wooden-embedded designer walls with green accents and lighting adds elegance. The guest bedroom opens up from the living area and features grey and white tones for a light-hearted freshness, with the bed’s back wall designed in the mirror and a diagonal-striped fluted panelling finished in grey Duco paint.

The son’s bedroom combines diagonal veneer and a Duco back panel alongside a bright bed, an L-shaped neutral wardrobe and a mirror. The wooden study table against the fluted back panelling adds warmth. An open design is perfect for the apartment, which promotes abundant natural light and ventilation.
