Pune-based The Arch Studio has designed the Urban Plush Project, which is a 3BHK apartment project spread over 3000 sq. ft. The client wanted an elegant space within an urban landscape, which brings in natural light. The firm follows a clean-lined, modern and sophisticated layout for a casual and luxurious ambience. The project features a warm colour palette, along with ample storage units, large statement tiles and plush and leather upholstery.

The foyer has two large cupboards with mirror details and is finished in duct paint, along with a small seating space. The marble panelling is accentuated with two fluted panels and golden strips, while the television unit is set against golden wallpaper. The space features shades of tan in the leather sofa, brown and black along with golden strip detailing to add luxury. The centre table is a statement piece with gilded legs, the chandelier illuminates the room with a warm glow.

The dining space features a series of golden plates set against a customised wallpaper, a bevelled mirror and a table. The bespoke dark veneer console includes two glazed units and an open showcase, which doubles up as a storage space. It is a multifunctional piece, which connects the dining room to the living space and bedroom and becomes a seating area.

The master bedroom has a warm colour palette, which includes dark contrasting and light complementary shades. The soft furnishings, lounge chair and cove lights complete the space. Highlights include the wallpaper, golden stripes and the continuing fluting technique. The bespoke bed has metal details, golden metal and velvet upholstery. Walnut veneered battens comprise the guest bedroom, with open niches on the side that bring in strips of sunlight. They become bookshelves and storage units, along with the grey loft unit with inbuilt profile lights. The functional study table has ample storage as well, complementing a yellow and grey colour palette with bright artwork. Chevron textured laminated cupboards with handles add luxury to the space.

The daughter’s bedroom follows a modern Victorian aesthetic with pastel wallpaper, along with a blue and blush pink colour palette. Panelling on either side of the bed, the bed itself and upholstery follows the same design scheme. It features moulding details, angular lighting, wall panelling and customised artwork.
